The Difference between Colorimeter and Lab Spectrophotometer

The colorimeter can automatically compare the color difference between the sample and the tested product, and output four sets of color data of CIE L, a, b and ΔE, ΔL, Δa, Δb after colorimetric. Unlike the method of colorimeter color measurement, the spectrophotometer can measure the "reflectance curve" of each color point (10 nm or 20 nm wavelength interval), while the colorimeter cannot. Spectrophotometers can simulate a variety of light sources, while colorimeters typically have only one or a maximum of two analog sources.
